Today I covered the TV with a blanket.

Now if I want to turn myself into a screen-staring vegetable, I’ll have to physically remove this barrier before I can do so.
The blanket on the TV represents a new phase of life. In which I do all the things I put off in the previous phase. The TV-mong phase.
Stuff like learning how to cook and remembering how to talk, that it isn’t okay to get halfway through a joke and forget the punchline.
In essence, I will do more, feel more, live more. No more waiting to turn the corner. There is no corner.
I am saying:
“Hello world! Show me what you got. Because I am in you, and you are where I want to be.”
